Norway

We visited Glein Norway on the island of Dónna. We were able to tour the farm from which Gary's grandfather, Peter Christian Glein emigrated to the US before the turn of the century. The farm is still intact although it was sold to another family. (See farmhouse to the left and the nearby cove below.)

We went fishing, saw the mid-night sun, crossed the polar circle twice--traveling as far north as Břdo. Norway is a beautiful country and we plan to return.
